Queens house Greenwich

lyndakmorris's picture

The Queens house is just one of the buildings worth a visit in Greenwich. The Tulip staircase is a wrought iron stair case accessible by climbing one level up. You can take photos but not using a tripod. Entry is free. I went on a rainy cloudy day and this might be best to reduce contrast of light and shade. I took three bracketed photos laying the camera on the floor at three exposures so that the camera would be absolutely steady and I could use a lower ISO

The entrance on the side is also impressive with receding pillars.  On a wet day you get reflections in the flag stones yet the covering overhead means that you don't have to hurry the shot.
