Luss, Loch Lomond

SAUNDERSphotography's picture

A wide vista of the southern loch can be best seen from this location. To create a similar image you need a calm day, be there at sunrise, late autumn to early spring. The second image was taken early morning to the left of the Pier.

To the north, Ben Lomond dominates the skyline, to the south Conic Hill marks the geological boundary between the highlands and the lowlands.

Luss Pier is a popular starting point for loch cruises.

You may recognise Luss as it was the setting for Scottish Televisions programme, Take The High Road.
