Loch Broom, Ullapool

ShaunW's picture

Best time to visit is anytime (although Sunrise/set can be excellent), Ullapool is a small fishing town on the West Coast of Scotland often used by people as a stopping off point when travelling as it around 2 hrs from Inverness. Lots of places to stay and eat (some excellent pubs), plus the local Fish & Chips must be tried. If you are lucky you'll catch a fishing boat off loading.

The Loch has lots of access (Northerly point in Ullapool), the southerly point can be seen (see 3rd image) off the A832 before you get to Ullapool
