Liverpool Docks / Surrounding area.

Rich heritage meets modern attractions at the waterfront's of Liverpool's docks, boasting magnificent architecture and the largest group of grade 1 listed buildings in the UK.

Albert Dock has been part of Liverpool's landscape for over 160 years and remains a key feature of Liverpool's world-renowned Waterfront. Princess Dock and Pier Head, a World Heritage Site are also worth visiting. The Museum of Liverpool, the Beatles Story and the Royal Liver buildings are particularly striking from an architectural perspective.

I've visited Liverpool at pretty much every time of the day. Night shots are amazing due so the reflections of the buildings on the docs. Long exposures are easily achieved in the day time. The sun sets across the river making for some very good shots of Birkenhead. Time lapse is pretty easy to do and some great locations across the city.

Plenty of places to grab food and drink. Also lots to see and do if there is a heavy rain shower.
