Harrison's Rocks, Tunbridge Wells (Groombridge)

Tony252's picture

Outcrops of rocks with a path beneath. No climbing required. You can easily reach the rocks with a 5-10 minute walk from the car park. There's a path along the top of the rocks which you can access from several points, or walk from one end to the other. There are no railings, steps etc so you need to be careful.

The rocks overlook a modest view, not that exciting, but if you angle to get the sky in it makes for some ingesting shots from the top of the rocks. Looking up and/or along the rocks from the bottom path gives some satisfying shots.

The area is popular with climbers, walkers etc, so you might get some additional shot of people too. However it's by no means crowded so plenty of space.

The rocks extend for maybe a quarter of a mile.
