Harringworth Viaduct

Digital Photography Courses's picture

Sunrise and sunset both look good and midday can provide very good reflections. This is a big structure so allow time to walk around and look for for interesting angles. I usually find an extreme wideangle works best for me but any lens should do the job. Take wellies and warm clothing as the nearby water and open land can be cold and windy. There are several pretty villages nearby with pubs so you should be able to entertain yourself for some time.

There is parking in Harringworth village and a couple of single laybys nearby. There is also a nature area and several footpaths which will give you a variety of views. Wellingtons are recommended as the area can be quite wet which can make for good reflection pictures.
