Gore Glen Woodland Park

nico1065's picture

It's a landscape once scarred by coal but has now been transformed into a natural haven for both people and wildlife. There is 2 miles of wooden path for you to stroll around and explore, great for wildlife photography and waterfall shots. The Shank Bridge is almost hidden within the Gore Glen Woodland Park but also worth capturing. One can enjoy a panoramic view of the Midlothian plain towards the distant Pentland Hills. Finally it's a great place to visit all year round, as it changes with the seasons.
