Dovers Hill, Cotswolds

billabongmac's picture

Dover's Hill was the site of the original English Olympic Games, which began here 400 years ago in 1612!

From a photographers perspective Dovers Hill is a great location to capture landscape scenes across the Cotwolds. Its a perfect location for Wide-angle or Panoramic shots.

It can be quite busy with visitors stopping by for a quick look so be prepared to be patient and wait for a clear moment to photograph the view. This location can be shot at any time of the year or day but to make your photo even more special I would recommend a stormy sky or maybe even a sunset.

It is also close to Broadway Tower which I also highly recommend paying a visit too!

Incidentally this is a great spot for sledding if it snows!
