Blea Tarn, the Lake District.

Casablanca2HB's picture

You'll need a car with decent brakes and a clutch that doesn't slip because there is a very steep climb to the tarn. Few passing places so not for the faint hearted. However, the views are worth it because once you arrive you'll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and the lake itself.  Woodland walks around the lake well worth  the time taken to travel them. If there's no ice then winter with snow on the hills would be gorgeous. Strong footwear needed to get around in this landscape. Often cattle grazing close to the tarn and they can add foreground interest to your images. No signal on my network (O2) when I visited so wise to tell someone you are going there.

Superb picture with great composition and lighting. I love the lead in lines of the fence.
