Balnakeil Bay

I'm not very good at these things, but I'll do my best. Having only visited the location once I can't really provide too much detail either.
I found Balnakeil bay and shot in the late afternoon and again at sunset, both were good times for photography, but as always sunset is preferable. I was there at the end of May and the weather was fantastic, which did mean that photographically getting drama into the shots was difficult. I have said that the location would be good all year round, but you may want to consider the weather reports during the winter months, as your not exactly on the beaten track. I would imaging the Atlantic storms will be very dramatic events for the photographer to document. I would recommend walking the length of the bay to shoot back towards the house & Kirk alternatively shoot the Kirk at sunset the opportunities are endless. Because this is a very remote location the opportunities for Astrophotography are great, as are light painting of the Kirk, the house or in the Kirkyard.
I have marked the location of the car park not any specific spot for the images.
