Ely Photographic Club

Ely Photographic Club extends a warm welcome to all enthusiasts - novices, amateurs and professionals.

Formed in the 1974 the club now has over 30 members. We have a varied programme throughout the year encompassing all aspects of photography. Due to the increased popularity of digital cameras in recent years the emphasis is geared towards digital imaging, however we still welcome those who use print and slide film.

Members are encouraged to enter competitions throughout the season and prizes are given at the end of the year. Other programme events include practical evenings, digital workshops, talks from various professionals and a number of social events.  We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7.30 til 9:30 in the library at the Ely Community College, Downham Road, Ely. The season runs from September to May, however there are no meetings during school holidays as the college is closed.

Membership costs £30 plus £1 per evening per season (guests are always welcome and a small charge of £2 per guest per evening is made).
