Brograve drainage mill is a fine example of dereliction, set in a remote position about a miles walk from the nearest road. The red brick building is now just a shell, and the skeletal remains of the sails are just about hanging on.

The mill is a fully restored grade II* working smock mill, the only one in the broads. It's a bit of a trek to get to the mill, but its isolated position makes for some great images and means it looks good from lots of different angles.

The windmill was built in 1877 which is still in use today.  There are 6 stories of this windmill to explore. The top of the windmill is good for taking sunsets. There is a tea room which is very nice and the people are very hospitable.
