A very popular location with walkers, as the Glen Rosa area is very picturesque, with the mountain - Goat fell in the background.

A lovely stretch of Coastline on the West Coast of Arran, lots of rocky outcrops of a variety of pale colours. With beautiful blue and cyan sea colours. Idea for wild coastal flowers.

The beautiful beach at Kildonan, which has lots of lovely rock formations with grass surrounding them, the beach is sandy and shallow (Ideal for swimming which I did in between shots) quite a quiet beach, no other people were here despite it being a very hot day.

A beautiful location, with a long but steady walk up to Goat Fell, with a nice established footpath, showing views of the Witches step formations.

A very interesting location, that appeals to photographers such as Joe Cornish. I am no Geologist and don't claim to understand why these rocks are so interesting, but they are.

The Machrie moor stone circles are well worth a look. Just after the Machrie Golf course there is a lovely little cafe and teashop just before you get there. Which is worth a visit to refresh yourself before and after you walk to the circles.

Any time of day at this location provides great interest, during the day when the tide is in, there are amazing detailed reflection shots.

Located at the top of Skye past Uig. A dramatic landscape from any vantage point. Some of the best shots require some walking (can be very strenuous) evening and early morning light can be stunning. However overcast/stormy days can give the area a dramatic feel.

Crocodile Rock is a relict of the Cumbrae fault. Best effect is when the tide is in as it looks like the crocodile is coming out of the water.
